Pete and P.B.
Dye Golf Course Architects
Many of the world's top courses boast one common element - design
by Dye. The Dye Family has probably had a greater impact on
golf course design than anyone since the original sheep at St.
Andrews that created bunks by burrowing into the dunes. Well
known golf courses with the Dye signature include: Harbour Town,
Oak Tree, PGA West, TPC Sawgrass, plus Crooked Stick (site of
the 1991 PGA Championship) and Kiawah Island's Ocean Course
(site of the 1991 Ryder Cup Matches). Pete and P.B. Dye are
proud to present Prestwick Country Club. This masterpiece has
already been recognized as one of the area's finest golf courses.
Features include dogwood lined fairways, 35-foot berms, dazzling
wildflowers, timber-rimmed bunkers and lakes and streams. This
magnificent layout offers six sets of tees for any caliber of
golfer, and plays to a length of 7,058 yards from the medal
markers.
The Prestwick Club House overlooks the 9th and 18th holes and
Prestwick Lake. The restaurant is the perfect setting for business
and casual lunches, banquets, weddings and other special events.
The pro shop is fully stocked and members have access to lovely
private lounges and locker rooms.
